Suicide Six...err Five
Well, this pretty much sums up Sunday's Suicide Six race at Harriet Hollister State Park in Canadice. Rain rain rain, mud mud mud. The entire time. The organizers smartly shortened the race by an hour, which is saying something, considering this is the same crew who run the Hardcore 24, another race which has seen considerable rains in the last couple of years. Nonetheless, 100+ racers toed the line and threw it down around a 7 mile loop with roughly 800 feet of vertical per lap for five hours plus a lap. Always fun to shoot muddy bike racers.
